    Hainan Sub-station is located in Tianya District, Sanya City, Hainan Province, which is adjacent to Sanya Phoenix International Airport with convenient transportation and unique climatic conditions. It has a tropical marine monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature of 25.4℃, average relative humidity of 79%, average annual precipitation of 1279mm, and average annual sunshine duration of 2563h.

    Basic condition

    The experimental ground is 5.3 hectares with complete test infrastructure, auxiliary buildings, etc., and experimental and demonstration areas for rice, dry farming, tropical crops, special treatment, etc., which can meet the needs of south breeding

    Functional Orientation

    To provide experimental sites and technical services for agriculture-related disciplines to develop new crop varieties such as rice, maize and vegetables.
